R U READY?

I am so READY! Ask my family. I have been squealing like a teenager again. WHY do you ask? I'll tell you why. There is a rumor the my guys NKOTB are COMING BACK! I am so there. I am already signed up on their site for updates and listened to the new teaser song that is said to be recorded by ALL 5 guys back in Nov 2007. OH WHAT A DREAM COME TRUE!

Sorry this is not a stamping post but I CAN NOT WAIT. Donnie is my favorite. Always has been always will be. He even was on my first date with my hubby. He was a supporting roll in the movie Ransom. His named popped up on the screen during the beginning and I looked at my date (hubby now) and thought NO WAY, it CANT be. And it was. He was the nice kidnapper. Just like him. LOL

YEAH ME! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!

Another Valentine Card

This is one of the cards I made around New Years that I rejected as a Class project. I liked the other one (see previous post) better. Everything is basic stock. White cardstock, Pink and red ink spots, vellum. Not sure who the Love Script Heart made, I bought stamp off internet yahoo group. The red string is from Michaels christmas ribbon section. The Letter beads and Eyelets are from Target $ spot.

My First Card Class!

I am teaching my first card class in Feb. Here are 3 of the cards I am planning to teach.

The first is a valentine one that started with taking a scrap piece of paper and cutting out a heart using my Creative Memories CCS heart. Then I placed it over some vellum and rubbed white ink using the heart as a stencil. Then I found a heart background from Google. The ribbons are some I have had from Michaels and the heart button is from there also. The white heart brads are probably Making Memories. Main cardstock is light pink.

Card # 2 is Orange Bazill paper. The Giraffe is a Cuttle bug animal that I used scraps for. The Giraffe clip is from my LSS that has the same giraffe on the front this is the back of the magnetic bookmark. The 3 eyelets are sliver. The green and tan card stock are scraps. The stamps are SU suitable for framing set.
Card # 3 is one I made a few years ago at my mom's LSS called the Memory Box in Mora, MN (it is closed now) All the paper is generic or scraps. The Under the Weather is printed off my computer with a free font of the internet. The eyelets are unknown

Papertrey Ink Limitless Labels

Papertrey Ink
This is one of the latest sets from Nicole's Team at Papertrey Ink. This is Limitless Labels. The green card stock is Bazill Basic and the white is generic from my scrap pile. The ink is a Stampin Up marker. Flower is from Quickuts Revolution dies. Flower is popped up on a SU dimentional.

Christmas Basket

This it the first of a couple of sets of Christmas Cards I have made for a fundraiser for our Public Lib. I made six these. This is basic green cardstock. I used watercolor paper. The red and holly paper is from a Holiday Slab I got a while back from Michaels. Both stamps are from Stampin Up. I used Prisma Colors to color in the holly stamp. A generic yellow ink spot for edging the watercolor paper. I glittered ALL the holly with Walmart Glitter. The glitter does not show up as well in the scan. Oh and the ribbon is from Dollar General.

Halloween Treats

No one guessed what my son was. He was King Toadstool from Mario Bros. game.
These are the treats that I made for both kids classes. DD wanted the happy. DS wanted the "scary." Guess they were not too scary. But they were a hit. Got this idea from:
