Papertrey Ink March Countdown

The countdown has begun at Nicole's blog for the March release. I am so excited for the Birthday set and the Boxes, Bags and Tags set.
Anyhoo, here is another card I made with the Shapes By Design set for the Guest Star Stamper contest. This is a card I made for my Little Sister who moved across country to Seattle on New Years. She went from 2.5 hrs to LOTS of hrs away. Sorry the first pictures a little dark. Also the flower centers are the glitter and the medallion is glittered. My sis promised not to look until she got it in the mail so I better get it out to her tomorrow. LOL Most IMPORTANTLY, I got this idea from: Rachele Funk's Blog. Check out her other ones. THANKS RACHELE!

Recipe: Ink: SU Pretty in Pink and Pink Passion.
Stamps: PTI Shapes by Design Papertrey, Beautiful Blooms, and Mixed Messages.
Cardstock: PTI White, SU Pretty in Pink and Pink Passion.
Ribbon: from Michaels.
Misc: Glitter, SU dimentionals, basic envelop, and 3m double stick tape.

Another Post Today, Beate Weekend Sketch #35

Here is my card for Beate's Weekend Sketch #35

All of the cardstock is stash, (Sorry I need to keep better track)
I know the marbled flower paper was a SLAB I bought years ago. The Birthday sentiment and the leaf stamp is from Papertrey Ink. The Flower brads are from Making Memories.
I am going to send this to a Stampin Up group lady who's grandma is going to be 90 and she is hoping to give her 90 homemade BD cards.

Lots of New Cards

Yesterday we had our "blizzard." TONS of snow 6" on top of 1/4-1/2" ice. Blowing snow like 25 mph. Anyway, we spent the day inside HWY 52 was still closed this morning as of an hour ago it was "roadway is mostly covered with mixed snow ice or slush, towing services prohibited" Anyway, I made 4 cards yesterday and one more to finish today. Here are the first 3: they are for my virtual demo's Case The Collection series. I do not have all of the sets or anything like some of the SU articles so I deviated to my own collection.

This is the CTC Page 110. I used stash flower, ribbon, light purple cardstock and button brad I believe is Making Memories. The Green Cardstock/Ink is Green Galore and Classic Ink pad by Stampin up and the Smile stamp is from Wonderful Words II(retired, I think).

This is the CSC Pg. 108. The green pattern paper is from a SLAB, Scrap pink and white cardstock. Ribbon is from Michaels. I used Craft White pad from SU. Flower stamp is from a retired set, the Celebrate Life is from So Many Sayings (Both SU). The swirl is a Autumn Leaves stamp from Target. The Circle stamp is from Papertrey Ink. I used white/sliver glitter embossing powder and SU dimentionals behind cutouts. I also used QK flower and circle diecuts in my cuttlebug.

This is the CSC Pg. 32. It is 3x3 card. SU Products: Green Galore CS, White Craft Ink, Apple from retired set, Medallion from Wanted, Not Quite Navy Cardstock and Real Red and Green Galore Markers. The Ribbon is from Michaels. Cut the Circle out with my QK Revolution die. and I embossed navy with my dots Fiskars texture plate.

Happy Valentine's Day

Here is the cards I made for my kids teachers. (First Photo)

Second photo is for my dd. My son got the blue valentine posted for Beate's sketch.

All stamps are Papertrey ink from their Borders and Corner's Heart Set. Ink is Ruby Red or White Craft ink from Stampin' Up. Also used Riveting for heart pocket card.

All the cardstock is from Hobby Lobby (I think)

Heart Stickers, Bling, Pink Heart, Red ribbon is from Michaels. Foam hearts came from Walmart long time ago.

Red Vellum is from ???? and the heart on top with pink hearts if a die cut I got years ago from Creative Memories.

Forgot to scan hubbies card, waiting for him to open so I can snag it quick. He said he would open it later!!! :)

DON'T FORGET PAPERTREY INK'S REVEAL and BIRTHDAY PARTY starting at 10 tonight.

Budding CardMaker/Scrapper

These are my dd's valentine's. I cut them using my Creative Memories CCS system's Heart shape and the blue blade. However, all the rest was created and designed by her. Her comment was that this year her valentine's were BEAUTIFUL and last year's were not. (She made them last year too and I thought most of the them looked great--the others were her being too much of a hurry to work carefully--more lets just get them done. And she stamped them and she had not done a ton of stamping before that.) She thinks she has to be "prefect" like "mom's cards." Ha Ha she just never sees the fugly ones I cover up or throw away. Mom makes plenty of mistakes. So when I do now, I make sure she sees how and if I can fix them.

Anyway--didn't she do good?

All about my stamping, card making, scrapbooking, and other paper crafts.
